L E Oyster Bar. The name itself is hip. L E Oyster Bar is a great place to go when you are looking for some seriously good eats!

This is the neighborhood oyster bar, and they are located in the heart of Silver Lake. They claim to harvest, pack, and ship only the best oysters that are available in North America. Guess what? We believe it.

L E Oyster Bar is a great place to take that special someone. Be prepared though. L E Oyster Bar doesn’t take reservations. If you had any reservations about an oyster joint, look at all the people who are willing to wait for a table.

The atmosphere is top-notch, and the service is friendly. L&E Oyster Bar has fantastic specials each day, so remember to ask about what their special of the day is.

Upstairs is a bar area with all sorts of drinks to please your date. Just don’t fill up on all the delicious specials they have up there because you will be too full to enjoy the main event in the dining area. The food is good regardless of where you are, but Upstairs is limited in what they serve.

This is a great thing to do if you are in or around the Silver Lake area. It’s a great place to go when you get out of work as it opens at 5pm. Pick up your date on the way to the restaurant, and be ready to grab a delicious meal and a few drinks.

This is even a great option for a date night during the week. It takes up enough time to enjoy each other’s company, but not so long that you are out until all hours.
