Zpizza, the first artisan-inspired pizza chain, opened up its newest location this past Monday in Silver Lake. For the past 25 years, zpizza has attracted foodies from all over the world. With their nutritious choices, artisan brick oven baked pizzas, made with premium ingredients, they have been appealing to a a more health-conscious audience. The first zpizza opened in 1986 in an art colony in Laguna Beach, California. They currently feature sixteen locations in the US, and three shops abroad. Though zpizza has been rapidly expanding, the Silver Lake location employs a family-run business style. Jennifer Ehrencron, the owner of zpizza Silver Lake, has opened zpizza in order to keep that family-style business present in Silver Lake.
